One Week in Japan: Osaka, Kyoto, Himeji, Kobe & Nagoya.

    August 27, 2019 /

It has been almost three years since we first visited Japan. We visited Japan for the first time in April 2016 and we fell in love with the country. We only stayed in Tokyo for 6 days and did not explore other cities and prefectures. For our second trip, we spent one week in Japan and we decided to explore the Kansai Region this time. Traveling to Japan or Asia? Check out these amazing Asia tours available 🙂 Is One Week in Japan enough? Realistically speaking, one week in Japan is not enough to explore everything but it is enough time to see many famous attractions and their hidden gems.…

A Kawaii Day at Sanrio Puroland Tokyo

    July 13, 2019 /

Raise your hands if you are a big fan of Sanrio! Tama City also known as the city of Hello Kitty is located somewhere in the western part of Tokyo. There, you’ll find Sanrio Puroland, the perfect place for Sanrio fans. Sanrio Puroland is an indoor theme park located in Tama New Town, Tokyo. It is a 30 minutes train ride from Shinjuku and a 60 minute train ride from Tokyo Station. It was raining when we visited but since it’s an indoor theme park, the rain did not affect our visit. Kids and kids at heart will surely enjoy this park. This theme park is overload with cute characters,…

You don’t need to be a fan in order to enjoy this attraction. If you are planning a trip to Japan, there are also several great Discover Japan tours available. CREO-RU DOTONBORI -OSAKA FOOD DIARY

    June 22, 2019 /

When travelers visit Osaka, they will surely not leave Osaka without trying Okonomiyaki and Takoyaki and Creo-ru is a great place to try them. Both of these dishes are very popular in Japan and both of them originated in the Kansai Region. Osaka is also best known as Nation’s Kitchen, the food here will surely not disappoint. Before I have arrived in Osaka, I have already researched where to eat Okonomiyaki and Takoyaki. I have watched Angela’s video also known as internationally ME on YouTube about their food trip in Osaka. This is how I have discovered this restaurant. We visited Creo-ru on a Sunday for lunch. It was our…

One day in Kyoto: How to Maximize your day trip

    May 6, 2019 /

They say that a lifetime in Kyoto is not enough to explore the thousands of shrines and temples that it can offer. Since we only had one week in Japan, our time in Kyoto was limited, we spent only one day in Kyoto. If you have more time, check out the best of Kyoto in 2 days. If you can only have one day in Kyoto, you can still enjoy this cultural capital of Japan. If you are planning a trip to Japan, there are also several great Discover Japan tours available. First and foremost, you need to start your day early. Since you only have one day in Kyoto,…

Classic Kyoto: The Famous Fushimi Inari Shrine

    May 1, 2019 /

When you search Kyoto on Google, Fushimi Inari Shrine is one of the top images you would see. If you only have a day in Kyoto, I highly recommend to prioritize this over other attractions since this is one of the highlight of Kyoto. Fushimi Inari Shrine is best known for its thousands of vermilion torii gates. When you visit the shrine, you would notice that there are lots of foxes, it is said that these foxes are the messenger of Inari, the god of rice Before you enter the shrine, you would see a map that would show you the mountain trail to get to the top. Since this…
