Filling Station Bar – Retro Diner in Manila, Philippines

    September 2, 2020 /

Manila is full of photo-worthy cafes but Filling Station Bar in Makati is like no other cafes I’ve been to. This cafe is simply the best when it comes to retro or vintage themed cafes. It reminds me of 1950’s style American diner. Filling Station Bar is a must visit when in Manila. This cafe operates 24 hours and it is located in Padre Burgos Street in Makati City. You can take a taxi or grab to get there. You can have your breakfast in the morning or you can also just hang out at night and chill at the bar area. Filling Station Bar Interior The moment I stepped…

Mooon Cafe: Mexican Inspired Restaurant in the Philippines

    October 26, 2019 /

Am I in Mexico? This is the first thing that came to my mind upon entering Mooon Cafe. Yes, the spelling really has 3 O’s. You’ll immediately feel the Mexican vibe of this restaurant, from the colorful and vibrant seats to the Mexican inspired uniforms of the waiters and waitresses and of course their menu which offers Mexican inspired dishes. If you are traveling to the Philippines, I highly recommend you to check Mooon Cafe. It has several branches in Visayas and Mindanao. Mooon Cafe has over 5 branches in Cebu alone and Cebu is also one of the top destinations in the Philippines. I’m so glad that there is…

Ichiran Ramen Japan – The Most Popular Ramen in Japan

    September 3, 2019 /

The first meal I had, when visited Japan for the first time, is Ichiran Ramen Japan. It’s the most delicious tonkotsu ramen I had in Japan. I was actually not really the biggest fan of ramen. However, I fell in love with Ramen after my experience with Ichiran Ramen Japan. I love the unique dining experience in Ichiran. Ichiran is really great for solo travelers as well. The founder of Ichiran specifically made this restaurant so that people will no longer need to worry about dining alone. He first thought of this idea when he noticed his female classmates were shy about eating ramen in public. This restaurant is perfect…

Hello Kitty Orchid Garden Cafe : Singapore Food Diary

    June 26, 2019 /

I just recently heard that the Hello Kitty Orchid Garden Cafe in Singapore is permanently closed. It was a one of a kind and unique themed cafe and I am going to miss it. Since I enjoyed my time there, I decided to write a post about this Hello Kitty Orchid Garden Cafe. I was very fortunate enough to visit Singapore last October 2018 and got the chance to visit this cute and unique cafe. It is not the typical Hello Kitty Cafe that is full of pink and cute foods that does not really taste great. This cafe is unique since they incorporated the national flower of Singapore, which…

When travelers visit Osaka, they will surely not leave Osaka without trying Okonomiyaki and Takoyaki and Creo-ru is a great place to try them. Both of these dishes are very popular in Japan and both of them originated in the Kansai Region. Osaka is also best known as Nation’s Kitchen, the food here will surely not disappoint. Before I have arrived in Osaka, I have already researched where to eat Okonomiyaki and Takoyaki. I have watched Angela’s video also known as internationally ME on YouTube about their food trip in Osaka. This is how I have discovered this restaurant. We visited Creo-ru on a Sunday for lunch. It was our…
