Farmer’s Love Agri Farm -Flower Farm in the Philippines
When you think about the Philippines, beach resorts and islands would immediately come to your mind. You would not imagine that the Philippines would have a flower field. When you hear the word flower field, the one in the Netherlands, Hokkaido, or the lavender field in Provence would immediately come to mind. Fortunately for Filipinos, the Philippines also has its own flower field in Tarlac. The Farmer’s Love Agri Farm is similar or a mini version of the famous flower fields in the Netherlands.

Farmer’s Love Agri Farm

If the flower fields in the Netherlands mostly have spring flowers such as tulips, Farmer’s Love Agri Farm mostly have summer flowers. Marigolds, Zinnias, Celosias, Sunflowers, and many more are planted on this farm.

How to get there?
Farmer’s Love Agri Farm is located in Barangay Mapalaciao along Lusisita Road in Tarlac City. I have heard that it is a four-hour drive from Manila but we took the 5 A.M bus so our travel time was only 1.5 hours. If you don’t have your own car, you can also take the bus.
- From Manila, head to either Pasay or Cubao bus station then ride the bus heading to Luisita Tarlac. Alight at Robinsons Mall in Luisita
- Ride a jeep heading to Mapalaciao. Inform the driver to drop you off at the tricycle area that takes guests to the farm.
- Then ride a tricycle to Farmer’s Love Agri Farm.

There are usually tricycles waiting to take you back after you are done exploring the farm. In our case though, we arrived at the farm at around 8:30 A.M on a weekday. We were the only visitors on the farm. There were no other tricycles, so we asked our tricycle driver to wait for us. Don’t worry too much if you get lost in Tarlac, just ask the locals and they are willing to help you. The locals in Tarlac really go out of their way just to help you, especially the tricycle and jeepney drivers.

Tips for visiting
Don’t forget to bring umbrellas when you visit the farm. The farm is an open space with not so much-shaded area. Wear proper footwear too and avoid wearing heels since you’ll have a hard time walking in the soil. Farmer’s Love Agri Farm is open from 6:30 A.M to 6 P.M. I highly recommend to come as earlier as possible before other tourists come so you can have the farm to yourself. The entrance fee of the farm which is 60 PHP or 1.20 USD is really affordable too.

This place is perfect, especially for those who love flowers. Even if you are not a big fan of flowers, you would still enjoy this place. We went to Goshen resort after we visited the farm. It is another attraction in Tarlac. It is a European themed resort in the Philippines.

I certainly do think about beaches when I think about the Philippines. So I was happy to read that the Farmers Love Agri Farm offers something a little different. I am sure the different types of flowers provide such beautiful colours and smells. It is a good tip about bringing an umbrella to get shade in the open spaces.

It actually would never have occurred to me to visit a flower farm in the Philippines. It does look so lovely, though – especially the sunflowers. I love the idea of getting there via tricycle on the last stretch – it seems so homey. It’s obviously a great place for photos, too!

What a gorgeous scene! I am a big gardener so I loved seeing all the vibrant zinnias, sunflowers, and celosias–especially while it’s so cold here in New England! I would have never guessed to see such a thing in the Phillippines. I hope to see Farmer’s Love Agri Farm and walk through those flower fields for myself, now that I know where to look. Cool place!

I never seen a part of Asia so colourful and beautiful like this before. The photos so remind me of fields in Netherlands and other European countries when the flowers bloom. If someone should me this post without saying where it was, I wouldnt have put Philippines on the list. A true hidden gem for the islands.

I visited The Philippines but unfortunately hadn’t heard of this flower farm. It’s so pretty, and has such unusual varieties of flowers – I’m definitely struggling to identify some of them! Great tip regarding bringing an umbrella, I imagine the sun is brutal with no shade. Thanks for sharing.

All those flowers in the Philippines sound like they’d be ideal for attracting butterflies and bees and other insects that are good for pollinating, especially the Marigolds.
