I have always been attending Sunday school every Sunday when I was younger. I also went to a Christian school when I was in high school. Growing up as a Christian, we were taught to always include Christ in our life. In everything that we do, we do it for Him. Traveling is very scary sometimes, especially if you are traveling to a new destination for the first time. Several things can go wrong and a lot of unexpected things can happen. Fear should not stop us to enjoy traveling to a new destination and here are 5 Inspiring Bible verses for traveling.

1. God will keep us safe when we travel

Proverbs 3:23

” Then you will go safely on your way, and you will not hurt your foot “
Bible Verses For Traveling

Proverbs 3:23 is one of the most inspiring Bible verses for traveling. We know we will be safe, we also know that God will keep us away from harm and danger. He will protect us so we don’t have to fear about our safety. Here’s some Bible verses about fear.

2. God is always beside us wherever we go

Joshua 1:9

” Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. ”
Bible Verses For Traveling

Joshua 1:9 is one of my favorite bible verses for traveling. It is also a great reminder for us that God is always beside us wherever we are and wherever we go. God will never leave our side. We should not worry since we know that God is just by our side.

3. God is always in control

Proverbs 16:9

” The heart of a man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps “
Bible Verses For Traveling

Proverbs 16:9 is one of the important Bible verses for traveling. Traveling can be overwhelming sometimes. Many things can go wrong when we travel. Unexpected things can still happen even if we have carefully planned for our trip. We might miss our flights or train. It might rain on the day you were supposed to do outdoor activities and you need to suddenly change your plans. These unexpected things happen for a reason. We should not feel frustrated just because things did not go according to our plans. If you are feeling overwhelmed when you are traveling, here are Bible verses for when you are feeling overwhelmed.

This bible verse was a great reminder for me during my Japan Trip. We were supposed to rent kimono when we went to Kyoto. I thought the rental shop was just in the area and not on the other side of the city. I was really looking forward to it but we suddenly have to change our plans. It might have ruined my day but if I was able to rent a kimono that day, I would also not be able to experience a Kaiseki meal, an authentic Kyoto cuisine. God always has the best plan for us.

4. God reminds us that everyone is welcome

Luke 13:29

” People will come from east and west and north and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God”
Bible Verses For Traveling

One of the things that I enjoy about traveling is that you can learn a lot of things. You also get to meet new and different kinds of people. People from the all corners of this world are equal even if we all have different culture and beliefs.

5. God created this beautiful world

This is one of the bible verses for traveling that I really like. I am always amazed by the beauty of each places that I visit. I am so blessed that I have the opportunity to travel and see more beautiful creation of God. Man-made attractions are beautiful too, but the nature that only God can create really makes me speechless.
