Whenever I visit the capital city, I always look forward to eating good food. There’s always an endless option to choose from. If you are looking for a different and unique experience, I highly recommend you check out Hole in the Wall PH which is located on the 4th floor of Century City Mall in Poblacion, Makati. Hole in the Wall PH is a food court style with a food marketplace or food hall concept you would usually find in other countries such as the USA. According to their website, Hole in the Wall PH is a curated food hall for people who really like food.

There are different food stalls inside Hole in the Wall PH. You can choose from different cuisines such as Western, Japanese, Modern Chinese, Mexican, Vietnamese, and others. This food court is very hip and trendy. The interior is very homey, and the best spot for me is by the large glass window where you can see a beautiful view of Makati City.

Hanamaruken Ramen

The Classic Chasyu Ramen from Hanamaruken Ramen is really good. It also makes me miss Japan. I also ordered additional Tamago eggs since it really goes well with ramen. I also really enjoy this shoyu based ramen with the lean cuts of Chasyu. Usually, I don’t enjoy eating ramen here in the Philippines because I would always compare it to the ramen I ate in Japan. This Chasyu Ramen, however, is really delicious that I felt like I am in Japan just by eating it.

Slabber’s Smoked Rib House & Chicken Wings

The baby-back ribs from the stall, Slabber, comes in a big serving with three sides, rice, coleslaw, and corns and carrots. The meat was very tender, it literally melts in your mouth. The sauce was also flavorful. You can really get your money’s worth with this baby back ribs.

Hole in the Wall PH Desserts

For desserts, I ordered the Taiyaki ice cream from the TakiTaki PH stall. It is actually a fish-shaped ice cream cone and it is also a famous dessert in Japan and Korea. They also have a wide selection of flavors and I got the strawberry flavored one.

The Hole in the Wall PH is definitely one of the unique places to eat in Manila. It is nice and also very instagrammable too. It surely does not feel like a food court for me. The interior and design of the Hole in the Wall PH is so stylish that it reminds me of Singapore. It does not feel like I am eating in the Philippines.
